Jon keats (1795-1821) was the son of a livery stable-keeper in london. 
He could not complete his schooling but acquired a knowledge of latin and histroy, some french but not greek. 
He was taken out of school and apprenticed to a Edmonton.
But the poet in him came to the  fore soon. 
A friend of shelly`s keats become intimate with hazlitt and leigh hunt .
He has to his credit a number of odes-ode on a grecian urn to a knightgale, and to autum, and those on melancholy, on indolence and to psyche.
By 1820 keats eas seriously ill with consumption .
He sailed for italy in september 1820, reached rome in november, and died there.
